ONNIT

Welcome! You’ve built something really interesting in this space. Start us off by telling our readers what your business is all about and how you fit into the OF world.

Hi! I’m Melyssa. I’m originally from Paris and I used to be a cabaret dancer back home, which is really where my love for lingerie started. I’ve always been fascinated by the way a beautiful set can make you feel: powerful, feminine, and unapologetically yourself.

After moving to Australia, I decided to turn that passion into something tangible. Earlier this year, in February 2025, I launched my own lingerie brand called MELYSSA Lingerie. It’s a high-end, women-owned brand that celebrates confidence, sensuality, and self-expression: lingerie made for women to wear for themselves, not just for someone else.

It’s been an amazing journey so far building the brand from scratch, designing every piece, and sharing it with a community of women who connect with that message.

I take pride in making pieces that stand out while being comfortable to wear because no one likes having to wear an itchy lace.

Every great business has a starting point—how did yours come to life?

To be honest with you, I just got tired of seeing the same designs being recycled over and over either in safe, neutral colours like black and white or slightly tweaked versions of what was already out there.

But the real lightbulb moment came after the seventh lingerie set I bought that cost over $300, and they were literally ripping after one or two wears. That’s when I thought, you know what? I can do better than this.

Lots of people told me that lingerie is a hard industry to break into, and for a while, that did hold me back. But at some point I realised everyone starts somewhere, and if you don’t take risks in life, you’ll stay exactly where you are. That’s when I decided to go all in and create my own brand.

What drives you to keep pushing and building in this space?

When I moved to Melbourne, I worked as a showgirl and a stripper and honestly, that experience shaped everything about how I design today. It gave me a real understanding of what it means to wear lingerie for hours: on stage, on camera, or just in everyday life.

That’s why I create pieces that:
A: don’t cost an arm and a leg to the girlies, and
B: are actually comfortable to wear while still making you feel sexy.

The woman body is wonderful, and we all have different shapes and proportions. So I always design with adjustability in mind. I want every woman to be able to tweak her fit so the piece flatters her body, not just some “one style fits all” design.

I remember when I used to dance, I would literally alter every single one of my g-strings so they’d sit nicely on my hips and make my glutes more curved. Most mass-produced lingerie never fit me properly, they either cut wrong or didn’t shape my booty the way I wanted. Some women love a high-waisted fit, others prefer it lower, so why not give them the choice? That mindset has become a huge part of my brand’s DNA.

What’s a fun or surprising fact about your business that most people wouldn’t know?

Oh, people would be shocked if they saw what my workspace actually looks like! My bedroom has basically turned into a full-on factory. I’ve got boxes of lingerie stacked under my bed, more boxes in my closet, I even had to move all my shoes out just to make room for stock!

It’s honestly just me running everything. I don’t have investors, a warehouse, or a big team. I handle customer service, packaging, social media, design, website design, literally everything. Sometimes when I reply to emails or DMs, I say ‘we’ just to make it sound more professional but really it’s just me and my (new) split personalities haha

It’s definitely not easy, but it’s also kind of beautiful because every order, every message, every moment of growth, I know it all came from the ground up. I’ve received so much support from strangers and there has been days when it made me really emotional

How do you see the creator economy evolving, especially on platforms like OnlyFans?

To be honest, I’m not super familiar with the OnlyFans industry itself because I’ve never been part of it. I’ve met a few girls and even one guy who do it, and I have so much respect for how creative and independent they are.

What I do see, though, is how platforms like OnlyFans have completely shifted the power dynamic. For the first time, adult creators and entrepreneurs can take full control of their image, audience, and income. It’s also given women the opportunity to actually profit from their own content, unlike the traditional adult industry, where actresses were often underpaid and undervalued.

In that sense, I think OnlyFans has opened the door for a more empowering and financially independent future for creators.

Thank you so much for taking the time to sit down with us today! Before we let you go, where can people learn more about your business and follow your journey?

Well, they can have a look at my website that’s where you’ll find all the new arrivals, the brand story, and everything about MELYSSA Lingerie.

Social media–wise, I’m definitely more active on Instagram (@melyssa.lingerie) where I share all the behind-the-scenes moments, new drops, and honestly, the ups and downs of building the brand. You’ll see the journey as it happens.

It’s still quite a young brand, but I’ve already had an incredible runway in the Gold Coast, and there’s so much more exciting stuff coming soon!

CREATOR PLATFORM

Building What Comes Next

Featuring: Richard Eamey

Yeah, so Ntice is a creator monetisation platform. At its core, it's built to give creators a safer, more reliable place to actually run their business. The problem we kept seeing, and this is what drove everything, is that creators are building real businesses with real income and real audiences. But their revenue can disappear overnight. Unclear rules, inconsistent enforcement, no real platform support. It's not sustainable, and it means creators are operating with a level of risk that I just don't think should exist. What makes us different is that we're a hybrid platform. We support human creators, AI creators, and everything in between. That's deliberate. The creator economy is evolving fast and we wanted to build something that reflects where it's actually going. We see AI as a genuinely powerful tool for real creators. A way to tell better stories, show more personality, and scale without burning out.

CollabGPS Takes Aim at Creator Chaos With New All-In-One Collab App

Featuring: Ted Buras

Hi there! So I just recently launched a web and mobile platform called CollabGPS - which has been a passion project of mine. I've been a part of the adult industry for going on 25 years now (in the background, doing video editing, content management - that sort of thing) and really saw how the industry has changed and evolved over all that time. I've met so many people who has become involved with creating their own content and through talking with them and looking at how a lot of them work on finding folks to collab with that there seemed to be a void in the way they network and find each other. It was through that and hearing from those that both have found great success and struggle to find the people they need to help make content that I thought a platform that focused on them was a great opportunity.

PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES

Handing Over My Louboutins

Featuring: Kristy Ann

I actually began my career in front of the camera. I modeled professionally for about 15 years and spent several of those years active on OnlyFans as well. Being on the creator side taught me a lot about branding, audience connection, and the business strategy behind building a successful digital presence. There was a turning point when photographer Bob Patterson gifted me my first professional camera and encouraged me not to waste my eye for the craft. At the time I was honestly starting to feel like it might be time to hang up my Louboutins and step into something new. That gift ended up changing everything. Today I run KA Photography here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where I photograph models, content creators, and honestly anyone who simply wants to feel beautiful, powerful, and confident in their own skin. My goal isn’t just to take pretty pictures. It’s to help people see themselves the way the world already does. Because I’ve experienced the platform from the inside, I understand both the vulnerability and the strategy involved in building a sustainable presence.
