Hey there! Welcome to Only Fans Insider! We’re excited to have you here. For our readers who might not know you yet, can you tell us a little about yourself and the business you’ve built in the OnlyFans world?

I just want to say thank you to onlyfans insider magazine for providing this platform for the content creator industry.

Im Bailey Madison. Im not a creator, but i do a lot of work in the online social media space. I built the website www.howtoonlyfans.net. after making some onlyfans creator business plans for some friend. It became very obvious the onlyfans industry needed a resource like howtoonlyfans after helping some friends get started with their content creator businesses. It took a lot of research but i think it was worth it to make a website that covers many of the issues that content creators face.

Tell us the origin story—how did your content or business journey begin on OnlyFans?

So during covid i had some people reach out to me about helping them put together a business model for some online work. I said yes and then they explained it was for onlyfans. I didnt know much about onlyfans honestly. Just vaguely from hearing about how popular it was getting when everything was crazy during covid.

I started researching the onlyfans business model to come up with a business plan for my friends. Thats when i realized how much money could be made. I wanted to build the website right away but i waited for covid to be over. I wanted to see if the onlyfans craze was the result of all the covid money people are spending. I wanted to make sure onlyfans was going make it after the free money stopped. I waited a year after covid and started researching the numbers and onlyfans was still growing. I decided to move forward with building a website but i wanted to understand why onlyfans was successful. With all the free content online it didnt make sense that people would pay for content.

That took a strange turn and what was learned would take to long to explain. I'll just say that demand for paid content is growing.

So i built the website. New content creators don't really have a place to go to get good information. At least not on photography, cinematography, marketing, or personal branding. Thats what howtoonlyfans hopes to provide. We see so many creators leaving money on the table because they don't know how to capitalize on this industry.
Social media marketing, closing a sale with an indecisive sub, to taxes. All of these opportunities to make or save money, missed because content creators don't have access to good information

I'm guessing most new creators don't know you can start an LLC and buy an escalade under the LLC and write it off. Its has to be a business vehicle. But under tax law an escalade meets the 6000 lb requirement to be considered a work vehicle.

Unfortunately we don't have a escalade affiliate link. But im sure most new creators dont know these types of things.

So that's how this all started. Helping some friend and realizing there is a rapidly growing industry called adult content creation, and there's no information to out there to explain the things you need to know to run a successful business in the industry.

What drives you to keep pushing and building in this space?

If im being honest its the money. Howtoonlyfans have affiliate links for onlyfans and others. We are also currently looking into partnering with companies for promotional opportunities. The other main drive is making sure new creators have a fight chance to make money. The adult content creator space is oversaturated at the same time lacking enough creators to produce high quality content. If there was more than enough content creators producing high quality content the top earners wouldnt need teams of people to help them run their business. They would have less customers and the money would be more evenly spread out through the industry.

This means there's a lot of customers out there that new creators could be marketing to. They just don't have the understanding of how to capitalize on the opportunity. Theres no, how to be a content creator class available for free, for new creators. Its a learn as you go type industry and that causes a lot of potential top creators to fail before they can learn the skills they need to succeed.

Howtoonlyfans hopes to change that.

Got a fun fact or unexpected story from your journey that’s stuck with you?

Its kind of dark but the most unexpected thing in the journey of making howtoonlyfans was learning why its profitable. Its not as simple as it seems.
Researching why people will pay for the interaction over free content and no interaction, took a dark turn when learning about how different young people are today compared to past generations. Socializing is down, drinking is down, going out on the weekends is down, having friends is down. All these things are statistically down compared to other generation. The thing that is way up, is loneliness. This might not be a popular thing to say but the research showed that men would rather pay for interactions on onlyfans than go out and have them in real life.

That was by far the most unexpected thing about all of this. Facebook became the digital times square and onlyfans is the digital strip club.

This isnt judgment of any kind. Its just what the research showed as to why onlyfans is so profitable.

There is a demand for interactive content so there's a lot of money to be made. Onlyfans have more of a social media feel than the cam sites. Subs are looking for that.

Where do you think the OnlyFans business landscape is heading in the next few years?

This is a great question.

Onlyfans went from being new, to the wild west during covid. Now its turning to a more professional industry. Its a free market in the sense that the barrier to entry is very low. All you need is a cell phone to be a content creator, and the market will decide if the content is good. The market rewards the good content and ignores the bad.

That means content will constantly be getting pushed by the market, to improve. In both interaction and in quality. What that means for onlyfans is, subs will come to expect high quality content from everyone. This will thin out new creators very quickly. Thats one of the changes will happen. There will be less new content creators signing up thinking they can make a bunch of money quickly with little work. And the ones that do wont last very long before they give up.

We've noticed in the onlyfans facebook forums there's a lot less of the young girls and a lot more of the mid 20"s to mid 30"s signing up for onlyfans.
Once they find out the amount of time they have to put into just social media marketing that's it, they're done.

The market demanding higher quality content will push creators more towards the photography and cinematography. We think you will start to see a lot more creators investing in mirrorless cameras and using their phones less for content production.

This presents a lot of issues. Namely forcing creators to learn how to operate a camera, set up lighting and audio, and the editing aspect. We currently have ebooks free for download on the website for photography and cinematography. We are working on frees videos on editing photos and videos. They will be available on our youtube channel.

4K will become the new standard for video quality. Look at how much more 4K social media content is on instagram compared to just a few years ago. The hardware requirements, gpu's, cpu's, ect. These will all be things content creators will have to learn about as content move into the 4K space.
The other big thing we think is coming is personal branding. The onlyfans business model has been more a of click bait dopamine hit style marketing. With subs wanting interaction with creators, the personal brand of the creator will become more important. Subs are looking to invest in a creator as a source of entertainment, sexual fantasy, and friend. They will tune into their favorite onlyfans creator like they tune into their favorite youtube creator. Long form content for marketing a personal brand will be a great way to bring in new subs and keep subs.

We have already seen some onlyfans models rise to fame. Like we use to see in the porn industry. Theres a crossover happening there. With onlyfans having the benefit of the creator being completely in control of their content. Thats a big deal whether people realize it or not. Long term copyrights means long term earnings, going to the creators not some porn company. We expect creators to start taking more seriously copyrighting their material.

Over all we see onlyfans and the adult content creator industry in general moving towards a professionally structured entrepreneur style small to medium business model. An industry made up of a lot of small to medium size businesses based around a personal brand.

Thank you so much for taking the time to sit down with us today! Before we let you go, where can people learn more about your business and follow your journey?

www.howtoonlyfans.net is the best place to find us. We also just started a youtube channel @Top_1_percent_creators. Reach out to us if you have any questions of issues. Thats what we're here for.

SPECIAL INTERVIEW

THE STIGMA ISN’T GONE. BUT SOMETHING JUST CHANGED.

Featuring: Jupiter Jetson, Marc Ellis and Maxine Doogan

JJ: I’m Jupiter Jetson, porn actress and brothel worker of eight years at Sheri’s Ranch until my abrupt termination in early February, when I was fired 24 hours after the corporate office received notice of voluntary recognition of the union I had helped organize in the face of incredibly exploitive new contracts. These contracts claimed full ownership of our power of attorney, our name/image/likeness, and any intellectual property using that name- past, present, and in perpetuity. After the Communications Workers of America (Local 9413) brought us in I realized just how much all sex workers could benefit from organizing. ME: My name is Marc Ellis. I’m the president of CWA Local 9413. The reason I’m involved and passionate about this is that I believe all legal work should be treated with dignity. Because of this our local was more than willing to help organize UBW ____ Not present for the interview: Maxine Doogan is an American sex worker, social justice and politics expert and advocate, documentarian, artist, author and media personality. For 30+ years, Maxine has regularly traveled across the U.S and abroad, providing erotic services, and working to protect and enhance the rights and conditions of sex workers. Maxine help found the Erotic Services Provider Union (ESPU), a labor rights approach sex worker rights group, the ESPLER Project which led a historic federal constitutional challenge to the anti-prostitution law in California, and Community United For Safety and Protection (CUSP), an Alaska based group of current and former sex workers, sex trafficking victims and allies, working towards the safety and protection for all in Alaska’s sex trade which also has a legal challenge to the state anti-prostitution law.

Pleasure, But Make It Frenshy Kitten

Featuring: MJ Frensham

I’m MJ, and I’m the founder of Frenshy Kitten, a South Australian intimate wellness brand. Frenshy Kitten started with a pretty simple idea. I wanted to create a brand where intimate wellness and pleasure could feel beautiful, fun, welcoming and completely normal. Somewhere people could explore what feels good for them, whether they’re discovering something for the first time or already know exactly what they love. We started online with our own range of intimate wellness products, but it’s become so much more than simply selling products. One of my favourite parts of what we do is actually talking to people. We hear their stories, what they love, what they wish existed, what they’re curious about, and we learn a lot from those conversations. And our customers are incredibly varied. We have women at completely different stages of life, couples exploring together, men shopping for themselves or their partners, and people from LGBTQIA+ communities who have their own experiences of pleasure and ideas about what they want from products in this space. We’re still learning all the time, and I think that’s really important. I never want Frenshy Kitten to assume we know what people want. I’d much rather ask them and listen. That’s actually shaping a lot of what we’re doing next. We’re expanding into lingerie, with inclusive sizing being really important to us, and we’re currently creating the Frenshy Kitten Studio here in South Australia. I’m incredibly excited about the Studio because it gives us the opportunity to bring what we’ve been building online into a real space, with intimate wellness, education, events and experiences, and the chance to connect with people face to face. Ultimately, I want Frenshy Kitten to be a brand where people feel comfortable talking about pleasure, exploring it and enjoying it. We definitely don’t pretend to know everything. I think listening, learning and growing alongside our customers is probably one of the most important things we can do.

SXhibition: Where Education, Entertainment and Intimacy Collide

Featuring: Belinda Gavin

Thank you so much for having me. I’m Belinda Gavin, the founder and director of SXhibition—Australia’s bold new intimacy, relationships, wellness and entertainment expo. I’ve worked across the adult entertainment, events and production industries for more than three decades, both in Australia and internationally. My background includes film and television, major expos, live entertainment, large-scale productions and some truly iconic events. From 2019 to 2024, I also led Sexpo Australia, which gave me an incredible understanding of what audiences, creators, exhibitors and industry professionals genuinely want from a modern event. SXhibition is the next generation of that experience. It’s louder, prouder, more inclusive and strongly focused on education, connection and reducing stigma. We bring together creators, performers, educators, health professionals, relationship experts and innovative brands in an exciting, welcoming environment. Our events combine live entertainment, seminars, workshops, product discovery, creator experiences, meet-and-greets and open conversations about intimacy, relationships, pleasure, sexual health and mental wellbeing. Features include our Main Stage, the SX ED education stage- sponsored by Stigma Health, Creator’s Lounge, Tantra Temple, Kinky Dungeon, interactive demonstrations, competitions and exclusive VIP experiences. For businesses and creators, SXhibition also provides a powerful platform to build visibility, connect directly with audiences, generate content, develop partnerships and grow within the industry. Ultimately, we’re not simply producing an expo—we’re creating a community and a movement. I want people to leave feeling entertained, informed, empowered and far more comfortable having honest conversations about intimacy, pleasure and wellbeing.
