Hey there! Welcome to Only Fans Insider! We’re excited to have you here. For our readers who might not know you yet, can you tell us a little about yourself and the business you’ve built in the OnlyFans world?
Thanks for having me! I’m Matt, the CEO and Founder of YouPay. At its core, YouPay is about making it easier for creators to receive support from their fans in a way that’s safe, transparent, and private. Instead of gifts being complicated or stuck in “wishlist limbo,” creators can accept direct contributions and then decide what to put those funds toward. For fans, it means they know their support is going straight to the creator in a way that actually makes a difference. We’re building the bridge between generosity and real impact.
What inspired you to dive into the business side of OnlyFans? Was there something missing in the space that you wanted to solve?
Yeah, so it actually started from a really personal place—I just wanted a convenient way to gift my partner. Once we realised YouPay was perfect for creators, we learned that many creators wanted a better way to accept gifts without the hassle of managing addresses, shipping, or awkward exchanges. Fans wanted to give something meaningful but often felt stuck with limited options. That was the real “aha” moment why not create a system where creators receive the cash support instantly and can use it toward whatever they truly need? It’s simpler, safer, and just makes sense for both sides.

What makes you passionate about the work you do in the OnlyFans world?
You know, I've always believed that creators deserve better tools to run their businesses. For many, OnlyFans isn’t just a side hustle, it’s their career. The passion comes from helping them treat it like the business it really is. What drives me is knowing that every time someone uses YouPay, it’s directly fueling a creator’s ability to grow, pay bills, invest in content, or just breathe a little easier. Seeing creators succeed on their own terms and that's what gets me excited to come to work every day. It's pretty amazing to be a part of that.
Got a fun fact or unexpected story from your journey that’s stuck with you?
Oh, that's a great one! You know what really surprised me? Meeting creators who have not only heard of YouPay but actively use it daily is super empowering. At XBIZ Miami I met a creator who told me they actually make more money from YouPay than they do on Onlyfans, which absolutely blew my mind!

Where do you think the OnlyFans business landscape is heading in the next few years?
Yeah, it's definitely getting bigger. I see platforms like OnlyFans proving that audiences want direct connections with the people they follow. I'm betting on a major shift toward more professional tools for creators, things like financial services, better analytics, and smarter ways to monetize their audience which is exactly the gap we're filling with YouPay. Fans are becoming more intentional with their support too, and businesses like YouPay are here to make sure that support is as seamless and impactful as possible. For YouPay, that means staying ahead of the curve and constantly building features that empower both sides of the connection.
