We’re excited to finally have you here. Before we dive in, can you introduce yourself to our readers and walk us through the type of content you create and the audience you connect with most?
My name is Scarlett Knox, an emerging mature model currently competing in Maxim Covergirl 2026 and Randa Rose’s Shades of Gray – Tokyo. My work is rooted in redefining beauty standards by highlighting the strength, confidence, and elegance that come with age.
Through my content, I aim to connect with women who may feel that opportunities—especially in modeling—have passed them by. I’m passionate about demonstrating that beauty does not fade; it evolves. By sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to pursue their goals unapologetically, regardless of when they begin.
Take us back to the beginning. How did you first get started as a creator, and what initially pulled you toward the type of content you make today?
My journey into modeling began after overcoming several years of health challenges, which ultimately gave me a renewed perspective on life and the importance of pursuing long-held dreams. Modeling had always been something I admired, but I hadn’t explored it earlier in life. Reaching a point where I felt strong and ready again, I made the decision to finally go after it.
Interestingly, my start in the industry came unexpectedly through a direct message on Instagram. What seemed like a simple opportunity quickly became the catalyst that set everything in motion. From there, I began to lean into creating content that reflects resilience, confidence, and the evolving definition of beauty.

What do you think most people misunderstand about what it really takes to build and sustain your type of content and audience?
I think one of the biggest misconceptions is that this work is all fun and effortless. While there are certainly enjoyable moments, building and sustaining meaningful content and an engaged audience requires a significant amount of discipline, consistency, and behind-the-scenes effort.
Nothing about this journey comes easily, especially as I am still in the early stages of establishing myself. In addition to modeling, I maintain a full-time career in healthcare and run two small online businesses, Hidden Stitches & Co and NeuroStitch Tees. Balancing these responsibilities has taught me the importance of time management, resilience, and staying committed to long-term goals, even when progress feels gradual.
What are you most excited about as this next chapter unfolds, and what do you hope fans take away from it?
What excites me most about this next chapter is the opportunity to prove to myself that I am capable of achieving the goals I’ve set, regardless of when I started. This journey represents more than modeling—it’s about personal growth, confidence, and stepping fully into my potential.
I hope my audience takes away the understanding that age is just a number, and it should never be a barrier to pursuing your dreams. It is never too late to begin. The possibilities are truly limitless, but it starts with believing in yourself and having the confidence to take that first step.

What’s something about your journey that people might not expect or see from the outside?
One aspect of my journey that people may not expect is the health battle I faced behind the scenes. About five years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare brain condition that left me nearly blind and extremely ill. It was an incredibly challenging time, requiring brain surgery to place a shunt that helps regulate pressure and prevent further complications.
With the care and support of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, I’ve made significant progress over the past year. That period of healing didn’t just restore my health—it transformed me. In many ways, it sparked a natural “glow up,” both physically and emotionally. If you had met me three years ago, you likely wouldn’t recognize me today.
What came out of that experience was more than recovery—it was a complete renewal. Through pain and adversity, I found strength, confidence, and a new version of myself that I’m incredibly proud of.
