It’s great to connect with you again! For those just meeting you, give us a little background on your business and the role you play in the OnlyFans ecosystem.
If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd end up working with founders in the sexual wellness and creator economy space, I honestly would've thought you were joking. It definitely wasn't on my radar.
My background is in venture operations. I spent the last few years building and running operations for one of the UK's largest angel investor communities, and today I'm helping build Tabu Ventures as Fractional Strategic Operations Lead.
Along the way I realised something that really surprised me. Some of the most thoughtful, mission-driven founders I've met are building businesses in industries that people don't always take seriously at first glance. Once you spend time with the founders and the people they're building for, you realise they're solving real problems for real people.
My role is to help bring structure to the chaos behind growing businesses and communities. That's the part I love - building the systems, processes and experiences that let founders focus on what they do best.
We’re always curious—was your business a planned venture, or did it evolve naturally over time?
I've always been far more interested in the people than the industry itself. Long before I found myself working in sexual wellness and the creator economy, I was building operations for an angel investor community. I loved sitting alongside founders as they went from idea to investment and helping create the systems that made everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Over time I realised something interesting. The industry almost didn't matter. Whether it was fintech, AI, climate or sexual wellness, the founders all had similar challenges. They needed someone who could bring structure, think a few steps ahead and build processes that could grow with the business.
That's what eventually led me to Tabu. Nicola and I connected through mutual contacts, and the more we spoke, the more I realised this wasn't just another venture community. It was a chance to help build something from the ground up in an industry that's often misunderstood but solving genuinely important problems. That combination of building, community and purpose was incredibly hard to say no to.

Why do you love being a part of this industry, whether on the creator or business side?
What excites me most is seeing good people build businesses that genuinely make a difference.
I love being the person behind the scenes who helps bring a bit of order to the chaos. Every founder reaches a point where there are simply too many moving parts, and I really enjoy figuring out how to make things simpler, more scalable and a little less overwhelming.
I also love that this industry challenges assumptions. People are quick to judge businesses in the sexual wellness or creator economy space without really understanding what they're trying to achieve. Once you get to know the founders and their customers, you realise they're solving real problems for real people, and that's something I can get behind.
At the end of the day, I'm motivated by helping passionate people build something sustainable. The industry is interesting, but it's the people that keep me here.
Tell us something quirky, funny, or totally unexpected about your business journey so far!
One thing that still makes me laugh is how quickly your "normal" changes. A few years ago, if you'd told me I'd be sitting in investor meetings talking about sexual wellness products, creator platforms or anal health, I would've thought you had the wrong person.
Now it's just another Tuesday.
The funny part is that once you spend time in these industries, you realise the products aren't actually the interesting bit - the people are. The founders are incredibly thoughtful, the problems they're solving are real, and the conversations become surprisingly normal, very quickly.
It's been a good reminder for me not to judge an industry by its headline. Some of the most mission-driven founders I've met are building businesses in spaces most people are too uncomfortable to even talk about.

In your opinion, what’s next for creators, agencies, and businesses working in this space?
I think we're going to see a shift from people chasing quick wins to building real, long-term businesses. The creators and founders who stand out won't just have a great product or great content - they'll have strong brands, loyal communities and businesses that can evolve as the market changes.
From my side, I'm also seeing much more collaboration than competition. Investors, operators, creators and founders all bring something different to the table, and I think the businesses that embrace that ecosystem approach will be the ones that thrive.
I think we're already starting to see these industries become more mainstream, and I hope that continues. The more conversations we have, the more people realise these businesses aren't just about headlines - they're solving genuine problems, creating jobs and building products that people want. That's exciting to be part of.
We’ve learned so much—let’s wrap with how people can find you, follow you, or reach out if they want to connect.
The easiest place to find me is on LinkedIn. I love connecting with founders, investors and operators who are building interesting things, especially in industries that challenge the status quo.
If any of this made you think, or you're building something interesting yourself, I'd genuinely love to hear from you. Whether you want to chat about venture communities, founder operations, the creator economy or simply swap ideas over a coffee, my inbox is always open. Some of the best conversations I've had started with someone simply saying hello.
And if you'd like to learn more about the work we're doing at Tabu Ventures, I'd encourage you to keep an eye on what we're building there too. It's an exciting journey, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it.
