My tattoos, my curves, and my style were all part of who I was, but the real brand became the energy I brought to every photo and every piece of content.
There wasn’t one dramatic moment, but rather a gradual realization that the things I once saw as differences were actually my greatest strengths. Instead of trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what a model should look like, I embraced what made me unique. That’s when Scarlett Knox truly became a brand.
The moment I thought, “Yep, this is who I am now,” was when I stopped seeking validation and started creating from a place of confidence. What makes you feel most powerful about showing off your ink in front of a camera?
My tattoos are a visual representation of my story, so stepping in front of the camera with them on full display feels incredibly empowering. Each piece of ink reflects a part of who I am—my experiences, my growth, and my willingness to express myself without apology.
What makes me feel most powerful is knowing I’m not hiding anything. My tattoos, my curves, and my individuality are all part of what makes me unique, and the camera gives me a chance to celebrate that openly. There’s something liberating about turning what some people might see as unconventional into art.
I also love how tattoos add depth and character to every image. They create contrast, tell a story, and make each photo feel more personal. When I’m in front of the camera, I feel like I’m showcasing more than just my appearance—I’m sharing my identity with confidence and intention.
Tell us something about your content or tattoo experience that would totally surprise your fans.
One thing that might surprise people is that I was never the “look at me” type. For most of my life, I was actually much more reserved. Modeling and creating content pushed me far outside my comfort zone, but it ended up becoming one of the most empowering things I’ve ever done.
The same is true for my tattoos. While they’re bold and highly visible now, each one started as something deeply personal. They weren’t chosen just for aesthetics—they represent milestones, memories, and parts of my journey that shaped who I am.
So the biggest surprise is that the confidence people see today was built over time. It didn’t happen overnight. Behind every photo is a woman who learned to embrace her story, trust herself, and turn what once felt vulnerable into her greatest strength.

What’s the biggest misconception people have about tattooed creators like you?
The biggest misconception is that tattooed creators rely solely on their appearance to stand out. While tattoos are a powerful form of self-expression and definitely part of my visual identity, they’re only one piece of the brand.
What people don’t always see is the amount of work that goes into creating content—planning concepts, styling shoots, editing, managing a website, engaging with subscribers, and building a business. Being a successful creator requires creativity, consistency, and a strong understanding of your audience.
Another misconception is that tattoos make someone less professional or less relatable. In reality, tattoos tell stories. They represent experiences, milestones, and individuality. For many of us, they’re a way of wearing our journey proudly.
At the end of the day, tattooed creators are entrepreneurs, artists, and storytellers. The ink may catch your attention, but authenticity and hard work are what keep people coming back.
