Camille, first, congratulations on being selected as Only Fans Insider and SxM Magazine's November 2026 Creator of the Month, and thank you for taking the time to sit down with us!
It feels like we were just getting to know you through your recent Only Fans Insider interview, where you introduced readers to your "Madonna Era" and your decision to embrace a new chapter as a model, adult content creator, and entrepreneur. Of course, long before OnlyFans, you had already built an extraordinary career as a five-time ultrarunning world champion, world-record holder, scientist, and coach.
For readers discovering you for the first time through this cover, we'd love to start with the woman behind those accomplishments. Who is Camille Herron when she's not breaking world records or creating content? What experiences shaped your willingness to challenge expectations, and how does this new chapter fit into the bigger story of who you've always been?
First off, thank you so much for featuring me as your November Creator of the Month!!! I'm excited and honored to be on the cover! šš„
I've always been a fearless, creative, intelligent, kind, funny, and curious human who loves to explore, experiment, push human limits, and challenge what's possible! I'm a runner, scientist, coach, wife, entrepreneur, and now a model and adult creator. I wear many hats!
Growing up, I played lots of sports (mostly basketball, golf, and running) and performed on stage through dance, piano, choir, drama, and band. I graduated as a high school valedictorian and went to college on academic and athletic scholarships. I have my bachelorās and masterās in Exercise and Sport Science.
I've always thought outside the box and followed my own path. At age 42, I was diagnosed as Autistic/ADHD, which helped me better understand my unique brain and why I've always experienced the world differently. As Dr. Seuss famously said, āWhy fit in when youāre born to stand out?ā
I've spent decades exploring the limits of human endurance, breaking ultrarunning world records, and showing what's possible for women in sports. I've experienced incredible highs and lows, overcome setbacks, and reinvented myself many times.
But I'm a human first and not just an athlete!
Now, turning 45 in December, I'm embracing my "Madonna Era!" š
šš„ I've spent my life being celebrated for what my body can DO. Why can't I also celebrate and preserve memories of my beauty, strength, femininity, sexuality, and creativity?!
Me and my sisters grew up with Madonna being our Shero. I thoughtāif Madonna can be a sex symbol, why not ME?
I see this new chapter as another form of human limit-pushing creative expression! Instead of exploring how far and fast I can run, I'm exploring new dimensions of myself and what's possible beyond sports. I'm channeling my "world-record mindset" into new opportunities and success, and I love it!
I hope my journey inspires others to embrace their whole selves, challenge expectations, and realize it's never too late to reinvent yourself.
Anything is possible-- I'm possible! š¦øāāļøš
When we spoke recently, you mentioned that NBC had interviewed you about your decision to join OnlyFans and that you've been navigating some pushback from the running community. You've spent years earning recognition for what your body can accomplish athletically, and now you're receiving attention for choosing to celebrate and monetize that same body in a completely different way.
What's it been like watching your story move beyond the running community and into mainstream media? How have you handled the criticism alongside the support, and what do you think people are still misunderstanding about your decision? Has this experience changed how you view the relationship between professional athletes, personal freedom, and public expectations?
It's been a wild ride hahaa! š It's interesting that most of the attention has come from broader mainstream media, rather than running/outdoor media. What I'm doing is reaching far beyond my sport! I've spoken with journalists from around the world, and it's exciting to reach new audiences!
Of course, there's been criticism and pushback, mostly within the running/ultrarunning community, but also tremendous support!
I've spent decades pushing human limits, breaking world records, and inspiring people through running. Why should celebrating my body, femininity, and sexuality suddenly change how people view me?
I'm still the same Camille! Being an adult creator doesn't erase my accomplishments, who I am, or my values.
I think what people misunderstand is that this is MY choice! My husband was supportive when I brought it up to him, just as he's supported my running and other endeavors. I'm embracing my body, connecting with fans, and building a business on my own terms. It's empowering being my own boss!
There's still so much stigma surrounding sex and sexuality, especially for women and professional athletes. We're celebrated for what our bodies can DO, yet judged when we celebrate them differently. Why the double standard?
If photographers, models, actors, entertainers, and other athletes can monetize their bodies and sexuality and be celebrated for it, why not me? Why shame athletes who choose to do the same? Iām ābringing sexy backā like Justin Timberlakeās song.
Athletes are humans first! We have relationships, sexual health, and lives beyond sports. I hope my journey helps "break the ice" and encourages healthier conversations about sex, intimacy, and wellbeing.
Running and ultras were never just a "sufferfest" for me-- there's pain AND pleasure! I've tapped into the pleasure side to excel in my sport, even during races. These are parts of myself I haven't openly shared until now.
We don't have to agree with everyone's choices to respect them. My life motto is "Be a good human." Be kind, caring, and loving-- not judgmental.
I'm embracing this adventure with curiosity, confidence, and freedom! šš„

In your Only Fans Insider interview, you introduced us to "Camille Unlocked: Season 1," describing it as an opportunity for fans to experience the whole Camille rather than just the athlete they've followed for years. You also shared that your OnlyFans journey was gaining momentum quickly, with your content evolving into an all-inclusive subscription experience.
Now that you're operating a content business alongside your athletic career, what does a typical day behind the scenes actually look like? How do you balance training, recovery, competition, content production, fan engagement, and running the business itself? What have you discovered about your audience, what they enjoy most, and the entrepreneurial side of content creation that you might never have anticipated when you first started?
It's been a fun, mind-blowing, and eye-opening adventure! I'm learning so much about myself, my fans, and running a creator business!
I've spent 31 years as an elite competitive runner. I'm used to having a routine, being disciplined, and managing my time. Now I'm fitting content creation, editing, messaging fans, and running a business into my daily life! I'm figuring out how to balance it all while prioritizing my running, recovery, sleep, and wellbeing.
What's surprised me is how much creativity and work goes into being an adult creator! I'm the model, producer, photographer, marketer, and businesswoman-- all rolled into one! I'm constantly experimenting, learning what works, and finding ways to improve. It's like applying my scientific and world-record mindset to a whole new profession!
One of my favorite parts is connecting with fans worldwide! I have runners, cyclists, endurance athletes, and people who never knew me through sports. It's fascinating hearing their stories and discovering what they enjoy.
With "Camille Unlocked: Season 1," I'm creating an all-inclusive experience-- what I call the "HBO of running!" Fans get to see the whole Camille, not just the athlete. It's a mix of running, personality, humor, modeling, sensuality, and more intimate content.
I've learned that people value authenticity, sincerity, and connection. My fans are LOVING seeing this other side of me and engaging with me in a new way!
The biggest surprise is how much I LOVE the creative and entrepreneurial side! My fans' ideas have expanded my mind and personal boundariesāin a good way. We're swapping ideas and exploring new possibilities together.
I could see myself doing "Camille Unlocked" for the rest of my life-- documenting my journey as a runner, athlete, woman, and human being, including how my body evolves with age. I want to build a longterm fanbase where anyone can ātune inā like watching a reality show.
I'm still pushing human limits, but in a whole new way. šš
One of the most interesting things you said during our conversation was that while you've worked with several major sponsors throughout your athletic career, you're currently operating without sponsorships. In some ways, that independence created the freedom for you to explore OnlyFans and take greater ownership of your image and earning potential. You also mentioned that you're already having conversations with brands and remain open to new sponsorship opportunities.
Having experienced both traditional athlete sponsorships and the independence of running your own creator business, how has your perspective on brand partnerships changed? What would an ideal sponsorship or brand ambassador relationship look like for Camille Herron today, and how could your growing audience across running, lifestyle, modeling, and adult content create opportunities that didn't exist for you before?
We're especially interested in how creators can use tools such as Sxgram's sponsor-friendly Posts, Reels, and Product Cards to introduce products and brands directly to their audiences. What kinds of partnerships, products, or business opportunities would you be most excited to explore?
I've been professionally sponsored since 2008 and have represented some amazing brands throughout my ultrarunning career, including Nike, HOKA, lululemon, Nathan Sports, and COROS. I'm incredibly grateful for these opportunities and everything I've learned-- especially about innovation!
After losing my sponsorships in 2024 following media reporting that I dispute as defamatory, I experienced immense personal and professional harm. I've pursued multiple legal matters, some still pending. The reputational damage has made securing new sponsorships and employment difficult, despite my athletic achievements and professional skills.
I had to rethink my career and financial future. I've been a longtime coach and previously worked in bone research. I considered returning to research, but a mentor last spring encouraged me to become an entrepreneur-- to be my own boss and apply my talents!
I feel there's been a silver lining to these challenges the past 2+ yrs! I now have greater freedom to explore different sides of myself without worrying about fitting a sponsor's image or expectations. With OnlyFans and "Camille Unlocked," I'm essentially sponsoring MYSELF-- no strings attached!
I'm realizing my value extends far beyond athletic achievements. I have decades of experience, a global audience, and so many interests beyond running!
I'm definitely open to new sponsorships! My ideal partners would value authenticity, innovation, inclusivity, creativity, and freedom of expression. I want brands that embrace the WHOLE Camille and not just the athlete!
I'm excited about running, sports science, health and wellness, women's health, fashion, beauty, luxury brands, and lifestyle partnerships. I also see opportunities in sexual wellness, body positivity, and intimacy. I reached out to Uberlube because I love their product and had shared about it on OnlyFans-- they sent me more! Why not partner with men's brands too, since most of my audience is men hahaa! š
What excites me about Sxgram is the potential to connect creators directly with brands through posts, reels, and product recommendations. We can share products we genuinely love while developing meaningful partnerships!
I see this as a new era of athlete entrepreneurship. Instead of relying entirely on traditional sponsorships, I'm creating my own opportunities and expanding my future "beyond the shoe box!"
I'm still an elite runner, but now I'm also my own brand! š¦øāāļøš
