Lex, thanks again for taking the time to sit with us. Before we get into the industry, I want readers to meet the person rather than just the profile they might find online. You’re a creator, entrepreneur and jiu-jitsu practitioner, and there are clearly several different sides to your life. For someone discovering Lex Valentino for the first time, who are you when the cameras aren’t rolling—and how did you arrive at the life you’re living today?
Thanks for having me Joseph, I really love what you and OF Insider are doing for the industry. I’ve been an athlete and a martial artist most of my life, which are two of the things that define me most, and also gave me these cool ears that generally discourage people from bothering me. I’ve been an entrepreneur nearly as long and made my first foray into adult content during the pandemic. Beyond that, and above all, I’m a father to the most amazing 16 year old son, whom I have raised since birth and homeschooled since the pandemic. He’s placed at states 3x for wrestling, medaled twice at Pan Ams for jiujitsu, and competed in boxing, kickboxing/muay Thai, and MMA since he was 6 years old. He’s traveled the world with me, finished 4th in the state and 11th in the nation playing chess, and now, since I allowed him to officially drop out of school, is an e-commerce CMO taking home 6-figures monthly.
In 2025 I became one of the most viral relationship content creators on Instagram. Like many other adult content creators I’ve lost several accounts, but the account I still have and started last May grew to over 100K followers in less than 12 months with an incredible amount of virality and engagement. My ex and I were everywhere online and would get stopped walking my pit-bull, shopping at Whole Foods, or eating out at restaurants last year, which led to us doing two scenes for Toochi Kash’s Slam Van and really put us both on the map in the adult industry.
With all of the changes to Instagram in 2026, and ending my previous relationship in January, I focused my content efforts on X/twitter where I have since become the most viral male adult content creator on the platform and grown over 100K followers since March.
In my current project with @fitbadonk and Toochi Kash, I will be pulling back the curtain and sharing my life as both an 8-figure founder and one of the most viral adult content creators in the industry. I’m taking over Toochi’s legendary space mansion in Las Vegas, collabing with some of the top female creators in the industry, and streaming IRL for 2 months straight. I’m super excited about this project, as it stands to revolutionize social media content strategy for adult content creators, and we’ll be holding open casting calls for creators and collabs over the next few weeks.
One of the things Erika mentioned when introducing us was probably the question you hear most from other men: “How do I get into the industry?” I think the more interesting question might be: Should they? There’s an enormous difference between seeing the lifestyle from the outside and actually building a sustainable career inside it. When a guy tells you he wants to do what you do, what do you tell him that he probably doesn’t want to hear?
The Arabic word “maktub” (مكتوب) translates to “it was written” and in life what is destined to be chooses you. I didn’t plan to become part of the adult industry, it simply happened along my journey as a content creator.
I spent a great deal of my life on a journey to become the best martial artist I could be, which took me all over the world, blessed me with so many great friends and amazing experiences, and opened up unforeseen opportunities that have positively impacted my life to this day. Similarly, my journey as a content creator brought me to where I am today.
While I started adult content during the pandemic, after lockdown I took a long hiatus and went all-in on e-commerce. I managed to change my financial situation for the better, so my son and I moved to the beach and life was good. I’ve always been a creative and a visionary, which is responsible for most of my success, so somewhere along the line I decided it would be a good idea to get on TikTok to grow my personal brand and sell some of my products and e-books.
I must have hit the algorithm right, because my first post on TikTok got over 50K views and from there I was consistently viral posting as often as three times a day and getting millions of views on some posts. Unfortunately, all of my virality didn’t really move the needle in terms of sales. Most people didn’t want to buy sh*t; they just wanted to look at and comment on the girls in my posts, so while I wasn’t increasing my top line revenue much, a lot of girls wanted to be featured in my content. Some of the girls were OnlyFans creators and that, over time, brought me back to adult content.
Look, if I just wanted to “get into the industry” it would have been a lot easier to go mainstream and shoot pro scenes from day one, but if anyone wants to do what I do they’re going to have to learn to be a viral content creator first. What I create is an artistic expression of me, but it also gives value to the women I work with. If I post any girl on my X/twitter she’ll gain 10K-30K followers, which converts to subscribers who buy content. Likewise, with Instagram or any other channel I’ve built, the virality and growth in followers and subscribers is a direct value to anyone I collab with. As far as my adult content onto itself, the multitude of camera angles, intricate editing, and the overall aesthetic of my content style, which brings out and highlights the best of every woman, is what makes my clips go viral on X/twitter and adult sites, but also what makes it sell well behind a paywall.
Female creators don’t need another d*ck. Their inboxes are all flooded with d*cks, and they have d*cks of all sizes, shapes and colors at their disposal. My best advice to any man wanting to follow in my footsteps would be to master the art of content creation. Whether we’re talking about Instagram or Pornhub, look at the top creators in your niche and what is already winning, then model that 80% of the time with 80% congruency. The remaining 20% of the time test your own ideas, but implement a 20% sliver of what the people at the top are doing and is already viral. Then build your portfolio and display your body of work.
You can catch butterflies by running after them with a net or you can build a garden. Initially you’re probably going to have to get your net out and run around vigorously, but as you build your garden and have a few butterflies in it there is a flywheel effect and others will come.

You and I talked about content strategy and the different roles platforms like Pornhub, OnlyFans and social media can play. A lot of aspiring creators seem to approach this as “make content, post everywhere, hope people find me.” You’ve had to think about yourself as a brand and a business. How do you decide what goes where, what should be free, what should be paid, and how one platform should ultimately move an audience toward another? What do you think most creators misunderstand about building an actual content ecosystem rather than simply accumulating followers?
Starting from TikTok where any sexually suggestive content and direct links or promotion pointing to external adult material are banned, the goal is to create viral TOS compliant content for broad scale creator awareness that links to Instagram and causes fans to search for you elsewhere.
From Instagram you can funnel directly to OnlyFans; however, there are a few caveats given the current state of affairs. First, your link-in-bio platform (linktree, linkme, etc.) needs to be in your highlights and not actually in your bio. Then content cannot be sexually suggestive or in any way, or suggest that sex is going to happen or has happened. The reels and photos all of us used previously just aren’t going to fly anymore. Instagram doesn’t care if you’re an adult content creator, but they don’t want the platform used as a vehicle to promote and sell adult content. With this being said, currently the most viable Instagram content strategy for adult content creators is to grow outside of adult content and adopt a new TOS compliant strategy that adheres to the aforementioned guidelines. Like TikTok the goal should now be broad scale creator awareness and casting the widest net, as opposed to looking for direct conversions to OnlyFans. Yet, unlike TikTok, you can embed your links into your highlights, and if you’re so inclined, as I am, drop the link to your X/twitter in your bio, if you want to drive traffic to preview your NSFW content. I learned years ago from Jack Doherty that social media is just a game of getting the most eyeballs on your content; they’ll find what they’re looking for.
When it comes to X/twitter and adult websites/tube sites (i.e. Pornhub) that allow NSFW content, every creator needs to decide on a personal level how much they want to give away for free and what works for them. Because adult content is allowed on these platforms, you can post virtually anything you want, but you have to realize that everyone else on these platforms can do the same, so you’re competing with them accordingly. Once again, I would look at the top creators in your niche and, if you’re comfortable with their content style, iterate on that at least 80% of the time, while ideating on your own concepts up to 20% of the time.
I think the biggest misconception is that you have to be multi-channel omnipresent to be successful and this couldn’t be further from the truth. Alex Adams is number one on Pornhub without any real social media presence (he has less than 25K followers on Instagram with no link anywhere, just posting his car collection), while Toochi Kash is all social media with nothing on Pornhub, other than a 1 minute trailer for her Brazzers podcast appearance, and has consistently been one of the highest earners on OnlyFans since it’s inception in 2016.
If you don’t have much of a social media presence, but have a hundred mainstream scenes and shoot consistently on a weekly basis, leverage that traffic that was not only free, but you got paid for, and build out your tube sites. The ROI on doing this and driving that traffic to your OnlyFans or paysite will far exceed the time and effort it will take you to build a following on Instagram. On the flip side of this equation, if you get millions of views on social media and have everything selling exclusively behind a paywall, giving your NSFW content away for free on X/twitter or adult websites, in any capacity, could really hurt your income, force you to sell your content for less, and be detrimental to you as a creator.
You have to dial in what’s right and what works for you, then go all-in and dominate that, before you expand and risk spreading yourself too thin. You can be great at anything, you just can’t be great at everything at once, so pick your battles wisely and focus on what provides you the greatest growth and highest ROI on your time. There are only so many hours in the day, so many days in the week, so many weeks in the year, and so many years in your life. Make the most of it all.
There’s another side of being a male creator that I don’t think gets discussed enough: relationships. The work can blur boundaries most people never have to think about—sex, intimacy, jealousy, collaboration, friendship and business can suddenly coexist in the same world. How has working in this industry changed the way you approach romantic relationships? And what does someone need to understand about you and your career for a relationship with Lex to actually work?
At this point in life I only f*ck for love or for money. I just don’t have the time or energy to spare if I’m not building towards something. I previously suffered from sex addiction and it very negatively impacted my entire existence. Adult content saved me from my addiction, by allowing me to channel my sexual energy into something safe, productive, and creative. Just like when I was a kid and constantly got into fights, combat sports and martial arts saved me from getting into trouble by giving me an outlet to plug into. In life we can run away from our problems or run towards them; I choose to run towards them, full speed ahead.
I’m a lover boy at heart and, outside of work, I’m super relationship oriented. My content is a reflection of my life so, in addition to my adult content, I’m know for my relationship content; however, I’ll only do relationship content with someone I’m actually in a relationship with. I’ve dated other creators, but some of my best relationships have been with non-creators who are operationally-oriented entrepreneurs. I’m a creative and a visionary that loves to build things with my partners and running up the bag together is definitely my love language, so someone that can help me bring my creative ideas to fruition and execute on my vision is of tremendous value to my life. Any woman who can make at least a million dollars together with me also gets to tattoo her lips on my body. Right now I have one set of lips tattooed on my neck from the girl who used to run my OnlyFans, but I’m always looking towards the future and can’t wait to see who’s next.
I believe in relationships we should add value to each other’s lives and that our lives should be exponentially better together than apart, so I’m interested in the aspiring homemaker who wants to raise a family hold down the fort and support me in my career, the athlete who pushes me to be my best physically, the entrepreneur who wants to combine forces to build an empire together, or the content creator who’s down to run it up as a team. Be the Bonnie to my Clyde, help me to be the best version of myself, and you’ll never have to worry about a thing.

I also find the contrast between jiu-jitsu and content creation fascinating. On the surface they seem like completely different worlds, but both require discipline, confidence, repetition, dealing with discomfort and being willing to learn publicly when something doesn’t work. Has martial arts influenced the way you approach business and your creator career? And underneath the persona people see online, what has this career taught you about masculinity, confidence and what it actually means to be comfortable with yourself as a man?
A lifetime of martial arts and combat sports has endowed me with an unparalleled sense of serenity and clarity that I carry forward into every aspect of my life. Regardless of what the universe throws in my direction, be it in business, as a content creator, or anything else, the mental toughness and fortitude built in the wrestling room, the humility Muay Thai instilled within me, and the ability to redirect my energies from jiujitsu allows me to surmount obstacles and overcome adversity. Combat sports and martial arts have also always given me a way to express myself physically and perform with an artistic uniqueness that is an extension of me, just like my content.
Being a lifelong martial artist and combat athlete has made me a better human in every aspect of my existence, so I will always encourage everyone, man, woman, and child to train. The absolute best thing you can do as a parent is put your kids in wrestling (thank me later), while the best thing you can do for yourself as an adult with no combat sports experience, regardless of your gender, age, or athletic ability is start jiujitsu. No matter what you’re going through, there isn’t a lot that training won’t fix. Problems get left outside the training room and off the mats, while there is an aura of strength, peace, and personal fulfillment that can’t be described or achieved elsewhere.
Lex, thank you for sitting down with us and being willing to have a broader conversation about the industry. I want to end with the guy who is reading this because he genuinely wants to follow in your footsteps. If he came to you tomorrow and said, “Lex, give me the blueprint. I want to build a career in this industry without destroying my reputation, relationships or finances along the way,” what would you tell him to do—and what would you tell him never to do? And finally, what are you building next, and where can our readers follow along with the next chapter of Lex Valentino?
I’m adamant about being a good ambassador for the industry, and that means being real and making the following disclaimer accordingly—for some people becoming part of the industry is going to be the best decision they ever made, and for others it’s going to be the worst. Like anything else, there are trade-offs that you need weigh out and decide for yourself whether the juice is worth the squeeze. If you want to do adult content but are concerned about your reputation and current relationships—or f*cking up your finances by losing your job, clients, etc.—then being a faceless creator is your best option, at least to get started; it’s just hard to build a brand around a faceless creator. You can shoot everything POV, from Instagram reels to explicit content, but fans are going to connect with you on a deeper level when they can see you fully and bond with your character. My original adult content was POV, and I still integrate POV into my current work. Likewise, when Instagram was the way it used to be, I did a lot of POV reels. I just ascended to a whole new level as an adult content creator when I committed fully and was willing to put myself in front of the camera.
As for what not to do, don’t be a creep. Being male talent is possibly the highest form of relational fluency with the opposite sex, so work on your communication skills with women, let go of your ego, and remove any preconceived notions you might have. Your reputation compounds, for better or for worse, and everyone talks, so be a consummate professional that female creators love to work with and bring your A-game every time.
Because I put the work in, built my brand, and developed my character as an adult content creator, I’ve unlocked a level of social status both within the industry and as a content creator at large. Since we last sat down together, I’ve been working on my tattoo removal. I’ve done six sessions on each arm. I go in every three weeks, and it’s painful, but slowly they are starting to fade. It’s going to take many more years. At least five to six years, but it will be worth it in the end. For now, I just put a lot of makeup on my neck tattoo to make it less visible.
And yes, I won new awards recently. I won Inked Clip Creator at the XMA awards, and I won Female Performer of the Year at the ALT Star Awards.
