So I am attending the Alt Star Porn Awards in Las Vegas June 11th-14th and I am beyond excited. This event is a convention aimed at Alt Performers, tattooed, pierced, and split tongue people of the porn world. It is very difficult for us to find consistent work in mainstream adult film despite the growing popularity of tattoos and body modifications. Most companies prefer a more traditional or even juvenile look leaving us with less opportunities. The event will consist of pool parties, booths where you can meet Alt models and shop for merch, and closing out with an awards ceremony on Sunday night. There is even a "Pro Penis Riders" party one evening, where people are invited to come and ride a nine foot penis that operates like a mechanical bull and are judged by porn stars. I do a lot of work for the company Alt Erotic and their director Ivan asked me to attend this event. How could I turn down an opportunity where tattooed performers come together and are recognized for their unique style?
