Thank you again for sitting down with us. Before we dive into the upcoming event, we’d love to give readers an opportunity to get to know the person behind the keynote. Can you tell us a little about yourself, your professional journey, and what inspires the work you do today?

Absolutely! I’m Scarlett Nash, and I suppose the easiest way to describe my journey is that I went from feeling like I was living a very ordinary, predictable life to completely reinventing myself.
For a long time, I was a school teacher. From the outside, I probably looked like I had my life together, but internally I wasn’t particularly happy. I was overweight, unhealthy, a bit stuck in a routine, and honestly, I felt like I had lost touch with a side of myself that had always been there. I’ve always had a very playful and adventurous side, but I didn’t really know what to do with it.
Eventually I reached a point where I thought, “Why am I waiting for permission to become the person I actually want to be?” That was really the beginning of my Bimbofication journey. I started experimenting with my appearance, my confidence, my lifestyle and, probably most importantly, my mindset. I gave myself permission to be bubbly, feminine, playful and a little bit outrageous instead of constantly worrying about what was considered sensible or appropriate.
What surprised me most was how much the journey changed beyond the surface. It gave me motivation to become healthier, more confident and much more comfortable in my own skin. It also opened the door to becoming a creator and building a community around the transformation itself. I’m not presenting myself as someone who has arrived at some perfect final destination. I actually think the fun is in continuing to evolve.
Today, what inspires me is that idea of reinvention. There are so many people who feel stuck because they think they’re supposed to remain the person they’ve always been. My story is really about proving to myself that you can decide to change direction, embrace the parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden, and have a lot of fun along the way.
So I suppose “Boring to Bimbo” isn’t just a catchy name for me. It’s the story I’m living. And if people follow along, I hope they see Scarlett becoming more her true self with every chapter.

Question 2

Most people only see where someone is today, but the journey that gets them there is often just as interesting. Can you tell us about your early ambitions, how your career first started taking shape, and what inspired you to begin creating content, speaking publicly, or building a platform around your expertise?

I think that’s exactly right. People tend to see the finished version of someone, but there are usually a hundred little decisions and moments that happened before anyone was watching.
My early ambition was actually pretty different from where I am now. I became a school teacher, and I genuinely cared about it. I liked working with people, helping others learn, and having a career that felt meaningful. But at the same time, there was always this other side of me that I didn’t really know how to express. I was much more playful, adventurous and confident inside than I allowed myself to be in everyday life.
The real turning point came when I became unhappy with where I was personally. I was overweight and unhealthy, and I knew I wasn't feeling like myself. I decided to stop waiting for some magical moment when everything would suddenly change and actually do something about it. I started going to the gym and making better choices with food, and over time I naturally lost 35 kilos. There was no extreme diet or magic solution. It was simply me deciding that I wanted to feel different and sticking with it.
But losing the weight was really just the beginning. As I became healthier, I also became more curious about who I could become. I started experimenting with my appearance and embracing this much more bubbly, feminine and playful side of my personality. That's when the idea of “Boring to Bimbo” really started to take shape.
Creating content came from wanting to document that transformation rather than pretending I had everything figured out. I found that people connected with the journey, the little changes, the funny moments and, importantly, the fact that I was still figuring things out myself. It became less about simply creating content and more about building a community around self-reinvention.
And public speaking feels like a natural extension of that. I'm certainly not standing there saying, “I've discovered the secret to life.” I'm saying, “This is what happened when I finally gave myself permission to change.” If someone watching thinks, “Maybe I could reinvent myself too,” then I think that's pretty powerful.
That's probably what inspires me most today. I know what it's like to look at your life and think you're stuck with the version of yourself you've become. I'm living proof, at least to myself, that you can decide to write a completely different chapter.

Question 3

Let’s talk about the event itself. What can you tell us about the upcoming event you’ll be attending, and what about this particular event sparked your interest? Was there something about the audience, mission, community, or opportunity that made you excited to get involved and participate?

For me, Sxhibition is actually a really full-circle moment. I’m going to Sxhibition in Melbourne this year as a creator, but last year I went along for a completely different reason.
A big inspiration in my journey has been my friend Bimbowifemandy. When I was just a shy girl starting out and trying to figure out this whole new world, I reached out to Mandy, and she was so incredibly welcoming and supportive. She was genuinely eager to encourage me, and that meant so much to me at a time when I was still finding my confidence.
So last year, I actually went to Sxhibition to catch up with Mandy before the show, make some content together, and then visit her while she attended. I had such a good time! I loved the energy, meeting people, seeing creators connecting with their communities, and just being around people who were comfortable expressing themselves and having fun.
I remember leaving and thinking, “Okay, I definitely want to come back next year, but as Scarlett the creator!”
And now that’s actually happening. It feels really special because I get to experience the event from a completely different perspective. I started this journey feeling quite shy and unsure of myself, and now I’m going to be there representing my own brand and sharing my story.
What excites me most about Sxhibition is the community and the opportunity to meet people face-to-face. So much of being a creator happens online, where everything can feel a little removed. There’s something really exciting about being in a room with other creators, meeting supporters, making new connections and just enjoying the experience together.
And although Mandy won’t be there with me this time, she’s definitely part of the reason I’m going. She was one of the people who encouraged me when I was at the very beginning of my journey, so it feels pretty amazing to now be attending as a creator myself.
Last year I was the shy girl visiting the event. This year, I get to walk through those doors as Scarlett. And honestly, I’m so excited to see what happens!

As you look ahead to the event, what are you personally most excited about? Are there specific conversations, networking opportunities, collaborations, or experiences you’re hoping come from being there? And for attendees who will be joining the event, what can they expect to gain from participating and engaging with the community?

I think what I’m most excited about is simply getting to meet people face-to-face. I’m still relatively new to the creator industry, so there’s something really exciting about stepping out from behind the screen and actually meeting the people who have been following and supporting my journey.
I’m also really looking forward to meeting other creators. There’s so much you can learn from people who are already doing this, and I love the idea of being able to have genuine conversations, swap ideas and hopefully make some new friendships and collaborations along the way.
For me, the biggest thing attendees can take away from an event like this is the sense of community. Being surrounded by people who are all creating, learning and trying new things can be really inspiring. I think it’s a great opportunity to meet people, make connections, discover new creators and just have fun being part of the community.
For me personally, it’s also a chance to keep learning and growing. I’m still figuring out exactly where this journey is going to take me, and that’s part of what makes it so exciting.

From the audience perspective, events can sometimes seem effortless once everything is underway, but we know there’s usually a tremendous amount of preparation happening beforehand. Can you walk us through some of the planning, research, scheduling, or personal preparation that has gone into getting ready for this event?

To be honest, my preparation hasn’t been anything too crazy! I’ve actually turned the trip itself into part of the experience. I drove about 12 hours to get here, so it’s been a bit of a road trip, which I’ve really enjoyed. I love being able to slow down, see some different places along the way and make a bit of an adventure out of it rather than just jumping on a plane and arriving.
Of course, there’s also been the usual creator preparation behind the scenes — promoting the event, sharing posts and stories, getting people excited and making sure my followers know where I’ll be and what I’m up to. I’ve been trying to build a bit of anticipation and hopefully encourage people to come along and say hello.
But honestly, I think the real heroes are the event coordinators. There’s so much work that goes into making an event like this actually happen, from organising the logistics and schedules to coordinating all the creators and everything happening behind the scenes. As a creator, I get to turn up and enjoy the experience, but I definitely appreciate how much work goes into making that possible.
For me, the biggest preparation has really just been getting myself there, enjoying the journey and being ready to meet people, have conversations and make the most of the experience. I’m still quite new to the industry, so I’m going into it with a very open mind and a lot of excitement about seeing what happens.
