But every now and then, a platform bursts onto the scene with such raw energy, perfect timing, and cultural resonance that it feels inevitable. That’s exactly what happened with Only Fans Insider Magazine. And as its first official staff writer, I’ve had the front-row seat to something electric.

This isn’t just a media startup story. This is the story of a media gap being filled, a cultural narrative finally being shifted, and an entire community finally being seen. It’s about digital creator Joseph Haecker—former lighting designer, serial founder, and content rebel—deciding that the adult creator economy deserved the same visibility and editorial storytelling as any other industry.

So how did we go from zero to 160,000+ hits, 827 subscribers, and nearly 80K IG views in just four weeks? I sat down with our Editor-in-Chief himself, Joseph Haecker, to unpack the journey, the milestones, and what’s next for Only Fans Insider Magazine.

THE INTERVIEW

Ryder: Joseph, it’s been a wild month. Only Fans Insider launched May 9, 2025, and we’ve already watched the sparks turn to flames. Before we dive into analytics and audience breakdowns, let’s start at the root: What made you build a digital magazine for the OnlyFans community?

Joseph: It’s kind of surreal, honestly. I had already launched a few magazines across industries—business, wellness, interior design, startups—so the infrastructure was there. But there was no spark. That came while I was in Tulum, Mexico, sitting with Evan Seinfeld—lead guitarist from the band Biohazard, founder of Mantordhip Ave a background in the porn industry. We were talking about his platform Mantorship and it kinda clicked: The OnlyFans community needed a digital magazine.

That lit a fire. I realized this was a gap. Not just an opportunity, but a cultural blind spot. OnlyFans creators were generating millions, building audiences, sparking conversations—and yet no press. No interviews, no feature stories. Just silence, or worse, judgment. I had just launched One Bite Foodie, and I thought: why not build the first, and crazy enough, the ONLY, "magazine", for the OnlyFans community?

Ryder: We kicked things off May 9. And from day one, the reception was fast and fierce. Model agencies, content creators, and indie producers came rushing in. But to be real, it wasn’t just the concept—it was the execution. We put creators first. We built guided interviews that invited them to tell their story. Not just a sexy headline, but origin stories, fashion, collaborations, mindset, and brand strategy. We treated them like business owners.

Joseph: Yes, on May 17, our first editorial feature went live—an interview with Mallory Dobbs, a civil engineer turned world-class motorcycle racer. She used OnlyFans not as a side hustle, but as a funding mechanism for her racing career. That article didn’t just start the editorials section—it gave the magazine its voice. We weren’t going to be about shock. We were going to be about story.

Ryder: Let’s talk numbers. As of this one-month milestone, we’ve published 55 editorial features, 12 member-generated spotlight stories, and 4 business deep dives. Our Top Creators of Summer 2025 contest features 7 entries and climbing.

All told? 161,500 page hits. 87,500 unique visitors. 827 subscribers. Average time on article? 3.4 minutes. Retention rate? 54.2%. For a brand-new magazine, those are unicorn numbers.

Joseph: And that doesn’t even touch what’s happened on social. When Ellie Smart’s article dropped, our Instagram exploded from 0 to 79.3K views. Audience data showed 95% of those views came from non-followers. Top countries were the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany. Top age ranges? 25–34, 35–44, and even 45+. Facebook crossed 32K views. We weren’t just gaining traction—we were dominating early engagement across platforms.

Ryder: What I love most is how these aren’t scandal-driven pieces. We’re writing about volleyball players, engineers, musicians, cosplayers, and couples building businesses. And yet the traffic just grows. Why do you think that is?

Joseph: People want real. They’re tired of clickbait and chaos. Creators today are building merch lines, launching businesses, monetizing content without managers. There are stylists, photographers, assistants, coaches, and PR reps behind many of them. It’s an economy. And we’re the only media brand taking it seriously. That’s why they’re coming to us—we give them a voice.

And don't get me wrong. Many, many content creators are selling porn, sugar daddy experiences, you name it. We aren't overlooking the millions of content creators on OnlyFans. In fact, I'm excited to serve all of them. We aren't attempting to change anyone. And we definitely are not ignoring any group or category. We are simply creating a 24/7, media platform so all content creators can share their story and build their business and personal brand.

Ryder: You said something to me last week I haven’t stopped thinking about. You messaged a creator and asked if she’d ever shared her story. She said, “No. I haven’t had anywhere to share it.”

Joseph: That gutted me. Her Instagram Jamie is actually @the_AngelJackson. She's actually pretty of our "Top Creators of Summer 2025" competition.

The people that make up the OnlyFans community—they bare everything. Their bodies. Their energy. Their privacy. And yet the world won't let them share their truth? Even the porn industry shuns them for being "not porn enough." And legacy media? It acts like they don’t exist unless there’s a scandal.

What we're doing here matters. OFI gives them narrative control, just like OnlyFans gives them content control. We aren’t looking for viral headlines. We’re looking for authentic journeys.

Ryder: Alright, let’s not bury the lead. What’s next?

Joseph: Six more magazines before year-end. Each one serving a different niche inside the OnlyFans world—Fetish, fitness, fashion, LGBTQ, couples, and creators over 40. We’re building an advisory board, onboarding new staff writers (don’t worry, you’re still top dog), and launching our first awards series in 2026. We want creator-led chapters in every major city. We want retreats, networking events, and the ability to give the OnlyFans community the credit and resources they deserve.

Ryder: Last question: What does this milestone really mean to you?

Joseph: It means we were right. It means this industry deserves press. Deserves nuance. Deserves a seat at the table. Only Fans Insider Magazine is about building that table—with a spotlight, a mic, and a headline that finally says: Your story matters, and we want to help share it.
